Shinn and Stellar first meet at PLANT, where Shinn tries to prevent Stellar from falling and grabs her boobs instead. *sweatdrops* Unfortunately, Stellar, being one of the Extendeds fighting for EA, is Shinn's enemy, and they actually fight a couple of times in their Gundams, without Shinn knowing that it's Stellar he's fighting against, and vice-versa.
The next encounter they have is when Shinn spots Stellar dancing atop a cliff. Shinn watches her, but then Stellar suddenly looses her footing and plunges into the waters below. So, Shinn dives after her and saves her from drowning. Because Stellar's block word is "die", when Shinn tells her something along the lines of "Do you want to die?!", Stellar panicks and loses it, but Shinn successfully calms her down. This is where he promises to protect her, and thus begins their tragic story...
Although I do tolerate the idea that Shinn only thinks of Stellar as a friend, I think the romantic aspect of their relationship is more dominant. In fact, I wrote a rant especially about that. XD Be warned though, that there can be irrationality and swearing involved, and close-minded Shinn/Luna fans might get a little ticked off. So, if you still want to read a (slightly biased) colored-with-cusses rant, and are open-minded, than you can read it here.

Gundam Seed Destiny is also known as Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED DESTINY, and is the sequel to the popular Gundam SEED. Again, it is directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, and licensed by Bandai Enterprises/The Ocean Group (English release) and Sotsu Agency/Sunrise (Japan).
The story takes place in Cosmic Era 73, three years after the Yakin Due battle in Gundam SEED. Asuka Shinn, a coordinator who lost his parents and younger sister, Mayu, during the seige at ORB (again, a battle that took place in the Gundam SEED storyline), becomes one of the elite pilots of ZAFT, along with Rey Za Burrel and Lunamaria Hawke. Similar to the start of Gundam SEED, three pilots, namely Stellar Loussier, Sting Oakley, and Auel Neider, steal three ZAFT mobile suits, the Gaia Gundam, Chaos Gundam, and Abyss Gundam. This marks the beginning of another war.

The site's title, Underneath the Waves, comes from a song by the all-Filipino band Hale. The song's title seemed fitting for this fanlisting because (well, if you don't mind a spoiler...) after Stellar dies, Shinn sinks her in the ocean and, uh, heck, I'll just let the song's lyrics explain for themselves... *swt*
